Creiff Golf Club was established in 1891 after Old Tom Morris carved out a
nine hole course. The club was part of the golfing boom which
opened half of Scotland's present courses between 1880 and 1909.
The club now has two golf courses, the 18 hole Ferntower and the 9 hole Dornock.
The Ferntower golf course is a gently undulating, parkland course, which is always
in supreme condition. Once you have reached the highest point of the golf course, at
the 13th, there are fantastic views over the Strathearn valley. Crieff
Ferntower is a fair, but challenging golfing experience for all levels of players
and has been rated in the top 30 golf facilities in the UK by readers of
Golf World magazine.
