Pitlochry is a shorter golf course than many of the others in this area, but
it is also one that takes you up the most hills. You will enjoy stunning scenery
all around the course. Many holes gives views across the hills or down on the town of
Pitlochry and the river Tummel.
Pitlochry has been described as a golf course where 'golf, beauty and the
social life go hand in hand.' On a warm summer's day with clear skies
overhead you will be hard pressed to find more uplifting views - so don't
forget your camera!
Even with its shorter length, Pitlochry golf course presents a challenge. If a golfer
manages under par here, they have played exceptionally well. Winding fairways
climb up the hillside (be ready for some uphill climbs in the first part
of your round) and meander across gorges and valleys.
This is a friendly, enjoyable course which is not normally featured on golf package tours,
but is one we recommend including in a golfing break in central Scotland.
